Welcome to my redesigned site documenting vintage electronics restoration, vacuum tube audio and radio repair, and the history of technology. Here I share hands‑on projects, repair walkthroughs, historical research, and high‑resolution photos from my bench.

Relaunch note

I’m rebuilding the site from the ground up to replace ageing, hard‑to‑maintain code with a cleaner, more modern layout and better organization. Rather than patching the old pages, this relaunch lets me present material more clearly and keep documentation current as I complete restores and experiments.

What to expect

• New, in‑depth articles and step‑by‑step restorations
• High‑quality images, schematics, and parts lists
• Practical tips for tube testing, power supply work, alignment, and chassis repair
• Project logs with before/after photos and test data

Archival and housekeeping policy

I will repost older articles that remain useful and relevant; see the Cubic CDR‑3250 cooling fan post as an example. Such articles will be clearly indicated by the original posting month  appearing at the top of the post.

Outdated content will be removed or archived and references to legacy products like early smart‑home devices that are deprecated or obsolete will be cleaned up to keep the site practical and focused.
